AfterLyfe costs $12.99 monthly or $99 yearly. Keyholder accounts are free. Loved ones do not need to purchase additional subscriptions or physical copies to watch and download the videos and messages shared with them.
Storyworth is no longer limited to typed email responses. Depending on the plan, storytellers can answer by phone, participate in guided interviews, or record conversations with a family member. The audio can be transcribed into a written story and linked through a QR code.
Storyworth’s official Memoirs materials focus on written stories, photographs, and phone-based audio.
AfterLyfe begins with the person on video. Loved ones can revisit their expressions, laughter, pauses, surroundings, and way of telling the story.

It is also not centered on posthumous release or assigning different content to individual recipients.
AfterLyfe is video-first and does not include a printed book. Its videos can be watched and downloaded directly by the Keyholders who receive them.
It does not currently provide automatic transcription. Its focus is preserving the original video stories, family media, personal messages, and sharing instructions.
